Police: 1 dead in Brimfield car crash

BRIMFIELD, Mass. (AP) — State police are investigating a fatal car crash in Brimfield.

Police say it appears as if a vehicle driven by 34-year-old William Medina, of Holland, lost control and struck a wooden pole and a tree on Hollow Road at about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Medina was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other vehicles were involved and no one else was in the car.

The cause remains under investigation.
