InFocus: Following through on your New Year’s resolutions

A report finds about half of all Americans make New Year's resolutions but only 8% actually achieve them.

CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – Every January first millions of Americans make resolutions, many of which focus on bettering their lives.

According to data compiled by the STATISTIC BRAIN INSTITUTE, the top resolutions include everything from losing weight and quitting smoking to making better financial decisions and spending more quality time with family and friends. That same study also found that in 2017 approximately half of all Americans made New Year’s resolutions, yet only 8% actually achieved them.
