Rosh Hashanah festivities coming to an end tonight

Holiday ends at sundown

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Jewish families from across western Massachusetts are celebrating Rosh Hashanah.

The holiday lasts for two days, and marks the observance of the Jewish New Year. It will conclude Friday night at sundown.

Yom Kippur, which is considered the holiest day in the Jewish calendar, will take place next Friday and Saturday.
