Summer travelers get a break as gas prices drop

Pump prices dropped about a cent and a half in the past two weeks

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The summer travel season makes the price of gas more important.

And road trippers are getting a break, as gas prices are falling again.

Pump prices dropped about a cent and a half in the past two weeks.

Here in the Springfield area the average price for a gallon of regular is $2.21

That’s 10-cents cheaper than the national average.
