BRIMFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Brimfield police are reminding patrons of the Brimfield Antique Flea Markets that they cannot park or idle their cars on Route 20 or on side streets near the fair. That includes loading and unloading items or passengers from cars.

“If you need to load items, please pull into the field, hire a porter, or make arrangements for later in the afternoon when the crowd thins out,” states a posting on the department’s official Facebook page.

If you are caught in violation, you could be ticketed.

Parking and standing is prohibited on the following roadways

  • Main St. (Route 20)
  • North Main St. (Route 19)
  • Brookfield Rd.
  • Warren Rd. (Route 19)
  • Palmer Rd. (Route 20)
  • Prospect Hill Rd.
  • Mill Lane Rd.

The first run of the Brimfield Antique Flea Markets in 2017 continues through Sunday. There are two more shows, scheduled for July and September.
