Northampton Police arrest bank robbery suspect

Brumer will likely be charged with larceny

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) – Northampton Police arrested a woman accused of robbing a bank on Main Street Saturday afternoon.

Northampton Police Detective Al Borowski told 22News they arrested 37-year-old homeless woman Jennifer Brumer.

At about 1:30 Saturday afternoon, Brumer allegedly walked into the TD Bank on Main Street, handed the teller a note, and made off with under $1,000 in cash.

No one was hurt. Police said Brumer will likely be charged with larceny.
