HADLEY, Mass. (WWLP) – State Senate President Stanley Rosenberg spent part of Friday back in his home district, touring the international pharmaceutical giant McKesson’s facility in the Town of Hadley.
Rosenberg told 22News he’s impressed with the work being done by the facility’s 75 employees; “What they’re focusing on here is interaction with hospitals and health care providers, doing technology solutions and help improve the quality and efficiency of health care delivery. And it’s happening right here.”
Rosenberg said McKesson has partnered with a medical technology company started by two UMass Amherst professors 17 years ago. The San Francisco based McKesson has 80,000 employees worldwide, including 1,000 in Massachusetts.
