SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Springfield’s Court Square was the center of a prayer service, Thursday night, as dozens of people gathered for the 16th Annual National Prayer Day.
The event was held in front of the old First Church, right in downtown Springfield. Clergy from across the Pioneer Valley attended.
Pastor Juan Feliciano of the Calvary’s Love Church in Springfield told 22News a little prayer goes a long way; “We can come together and pray on behalf of our City, on behalf of our leadership, on behalf of those who are working with our children, and on behalf of this whole Pioneer Valley.”
Guests enjoyed songs of worships and spiritual guidance. The annual day of observance is always held on the first Thursday of May.
