TJO Adoption Center asking for help find these pet's owners

A dozen dogs and cats were found without owners and taken to the Thomas J O'Connor Animal Control & Adoption Center.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – If you’re a pet owner, you know how it feels if your dog or cat runs off; it can put you into panic mode. Here’s a look at 12 pets that ran away and still haven’t made it back home.

Just this week, Lori Swanson of the Thomas J O’Connor Animal Control & Adoption Center said at least a dozen dogs and cats were found in the City of Springfield separated from their owners. Now TJO is hoping the community can help reunite them with their families.

“We’re here to help people and make sure that they’re reunited with their beloved family members,” said Swanson. “That means a family is missing somebody they love. So any animal, last week it happened to be 12, that is a lot, but one is a lot too.”

TJO is asking everyone to take a look, and see if they recognize these pets, and might know their owners.
