Police: 2 alleged shoplifters arrested in Longmeadow

These suspects may have been involved in multiple shopliftings

LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WWLP) – Police arrested two shoplifting suspects on Tuesday after items were reportedly stolen from a CVS in Longmeadow.

According to the Longmeadow Police Facebook Page, the department received a report of shoplifting around 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the CVS on Bliss Road. When the officers arrived, employees gave them a description of the suspects and their vehicle.

Then, on Converse Street, off-duty Longmeadow officers working a road detail saw a vehicle that allegedly matched the description of the shoplifting suspects parked at a nearby business, police said. More officers arrived on Converse Street, and the two suspects inside the vehicle were arrested.

Police arrested 30-year-old Jamie Fekeris and 32-year-old Michelle Brown, both of Chicopee; they were charged with shoplifting and two additional outstanding warrants. Police said these two suspects may have been involved in multiple shopliftings throughout western Massachusetts.
