Massachusetts man accused of murder on Easter Sunday

LYNN, Mass. (WWLP) – Massachusetts State Police added an armed and dangerous man to the state’s “Most Wanted” list for a murder that happened in Lynn on April 16th, Easter Sunday.

According to a news release from State Police, 44-year-old William A. Cash was reportedly confronting a woman in Lynn when two other men intervened. Police said Cash left the area, but then returned and allegedly shot both the men.

One victim, who was legally blind, was killed and the second victim suffered serious injuries. Police said the gun involved in the shooting was not found, and warn that Cash should be considered armed and dangerous.

Police said Cash has a lengthy criminal record in Massachusetts, including Armed Robbery, Assault & Battery with a Dangerous Weapon and Drug Trafficking.
