Burglars stole cigarettes from Somers convenience store

SOMERS, Conn. (WWLP) – Connecticut State Police are hoping you can help them find suspects who broke into a convenience store just over the state line in Somers over the weekend.

According to state police, the suspects smashed through the front glass door of the Sunoco station convenience store at 169 Main Street (Route 190) at around 5:40 Saturday morning.

Once they got inside, they used large cardboard boxes to carry tobacco products out of the store.

They were seen leaving in two different vehicles: a gray extended cab Ford Ranger pickup truck with a dented front chrome bumper, and a tan late 1990s Toyota Camry with a sunroof and a missing driver’s side front hubcap.

A description of the suspects themselves was not available from state police.
