The fire started at 752 Memorial Drive just after 11:30 p.m. When our 22News crew arrived, smoke was pouring from the windows and roof of the home.

Chicopee Fire Deputy Chief Matthew Cross told 22News that there was a large fire in the attic when firefighters arrived at the home.

The house was heavily damaged in the fire. The Red Cross is helping the four residents find another place to stay.
