SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Springfield’s Restaurant Week has begun at 27 restaurants throughout the City. The attraction for price conscious diners is the specially fixed price of $20.17 for dinner during the entire week.
Nadim Kashouh, the owner of Nadim’s restaurant in downtown Springfield, expects Restaurant Week to increase business by 20% to 25%.
He wants to keep Restaurant Week a once a year event; “We keep it at once a year, let’s keep it special. If you did it once a month, it loses the luster, it loses that excitement.”
Kashouh put on extra staff and ordered additional food from suppliers in anticipation of a successful Restaurant Week.
