Northampton police looking for armed robbery suspect

Robbery happened at 8:40 p.m.

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) – Northampton police are searching for a man they say robbed a convenience store in Florence Wednesday night.

Northampton Police Captain John Cartledge told 22News a man showed a gun to an employee at Jim’s Variety Store on West Farms Road just before 9:00 p.m., and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is only being described at this time as a white man. If you saw anything suspicious or have any information, you’re asked to call Northampton police at 413-587-1100.
