HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) – Ambulances were called, and a section of Route 5 was closed, Wednesday night, after a crash in north Holyoke.

Holyoke Police Sgt. John Savigne told 22News traffic was being diverted off Northampton Street, Route 5, at George Street. Ambulances were called to aid at least one accident victim at the crash site near Bemis Road.
