GREENFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – A man from Bernardston has been arrested for his second OUI offense, after Greenfield police say that he exposed himself to a married couple and began following them in his car.

Greenfield police posted on their official Facebook page that Jeffrey Snow, 57, is now being charged with operating while intoxicated (2nd offense), having an open container of alcohol in a vehicle, and two counts of open and gross lewdness, following the incident Sunday afternoon at Poet’s Seat.

Police say that around 4:00, they received a call from a man who said that he and his husband were being followed as they drove away from the popular recreation area. The caller said that earlier, the couple had encountered the driver, who looked at them and licked his lips in a sexual way. They later saw the man sunbathing nude on a rock, and continuing on their hike, later found the man pleasuring himself while sitting on a bench near the overlook.

As they left in their vehicle, the caller reported that the man got into his car and followed them down the road.

The arriving police officers were able to identify the driver as Snow, and police allegedly determined they had probable cause to arrest him for operating under the influence. His bail was set at $1,000 and he was taken to the Franklin County Jail.
