Parking bans in Western Massachusetts

(WWLP) – 22News is working for you with a listing of parking bans in communities across western Massachusetts. We will continue to update the list as new parking bans come in.

    • Agawam: No on-street parking from 6:00 AM Sunday, February 12th, until 6:00 PM Monday, February 13th.
    • Chicopee: No on-street parking on Main Roads, One-Way Streets, and Even Sides of Side Streets from 9 AM Sunday, February 12, 2017 to 5 PM Monday, February 13, 2017
    • East Longmeadow: No on-street parking from 9:00 AM Sunday February 12, 2017 to 9:00 PM Monday February 13, 2017.
    • Granby: No on-street parking from 8:00 A.M. on Sunday, February 12th through 4:00 P.M. to Monday, February 13th.
    • Holyoke: No parking on the ODD side of any street unless otherwise posted from 5:00 P.M. on Monday, February 13 until further notice.
    • Ludlow:  No on-street parking from 7:00 A.M. on Sunday, February 12th through 7:00 A.M. on Tuesday, February 14th.
    • Monson: Parking will be permitted on Main Street between Hampden Avenue and Washington Street. Any legally operating business outside of this area that requires on-street parking during a ban shall contact the Police Department for permission, which shall be granted unless substantial public safety is a risk.
    • Southwick: No on-street parking from 9:00 AM Sunday February 12, 2017 to 5:00 PM Monday February 13, 2017.
    • South Hadley:  In effect from 12:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 12th through 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 14th.
      Park on the EVEN numbered side of the street on EVEN days, and on the ODD numbered side of the street on ODD days.
      NO ON STREET PARKING ON: Bridge Street, Lamb Street, Bardwell Street, Main Street, Rt.116, and Lower North Main Street.
      Swap over time is 8am on the days the parking ban is in effect.
    • Springfield: A parking ban will begin at 9 a.m. Thursday, February 9 and will be in place until further notice. No parking on the ODD side of the street from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. No parking on the EVEN side of the street from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.  The ban includes all metered spaces.  The Springfield Parking Authority offers parking at the Civic Center garage for $2.00 every 12 hours when a ban is issued.  Parking is allowed on the fourth floor or higher.  Parking is prohibited in ‘Reserved’ spaces.  An envelope will be left on the car for payment and the ticket and payment must be placed in the envelope and left in the yellow box at the booth on the Harrison Avenue side of the garage.
    • Suffield: No on-street parking Noon Sunday, February 12th, 2017 until further notice.
    • Westfield: No on-street parking Noon Sunday, February 12th, 2017 until further notice.
