CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – Shortly after sharing his image Monday, Chicopee police have identified a man accused of stealing from a drugstore more than a month ago.

Chicopee Police Officer Mike Wilk told 22News that the theft took place at the Rite Aid on Meadow Street back on October 30. Wilk says that the suspect walked into the store, took a Bluetooth speaker, and left the store without paying for it.

Police released a surveillance image on their official Facebook page Monday morning, as well as to local media outlets. A couple of hours later, Wilk announced that they now know who the suspect is.

He told 22News that they have not made an arrest yet, but they are following-up on the suspect.
