(NBC News) Drones are flying off the shelves ahead of Christmas, and child’s play isn’t always involved.
The average price for one of these holiday favorite, equipped with a camera and high-tech software is $550.
“Some keep you from crashing into trees or walls or buildings and some will even come back to you,” says Bridget Carey of CNET.
If you do have one of these high flying toys underneath the tree, you are required to registered it with the F.A.A before you launch it.
