AMHERST, Mass. (WWLP) – Misdemeanor charges against a UMass football player from a September 2015 incident were dismissed back in June.
Jalen Williams was charged with a misdemeanor breaking and entering into a car and larceny under $250, but both charges were dismissed once he completed his probation period without incident.
Williams had always maintained his innocence telling 22News back in September 2015 that he didn’t steal anything and was stopped because he fit the description of a suspect Amherst Police were looking for.
The Redshirt senior caught six touchdowns for UMass this season, including a season high 7 catches and 133 yards in their season finale against Hawaii.
