Trump meets tech leaders

President-elect Donald Trump meets with leaders from Apple, Google, Amazon, Tesla and others to discuss immigration, cyber-security and other issues.

(NBC News) President-elect Donald Trump welcomed the leaders of several tech giants to Trump Tower Wednesday.

Jeff Bezos of Amazon, Eric Schmidt and Larry Page of Google, Tim Cook of Apple, and Elon Musk of Tesla, were among those in attendance.

Many backed Hillary Clinton’s bid for the presidency, and some have expressed worry Trump will cut back work visas for the tech-savvy immigrants Silicon Valley counts on.

The meeting was off the record, but as cameras rolled durinng an early photo-op, Trump told the group he is “here to help you folks do well.”
