Enfield police searching for pick-up truck following deadly hit-and-run

ENFIELD, Conn. (WWLP) – A pickup truck has been identified as the vehicle believed to have struck and killed a skateboarder in Enfield, Connecticut nearly two weeks ago. Enfield police are still looking for the driver who hit 20 year-old Jeremy Mercier on Enfield Street (Route 5) near the corner of Orbit Drive on December 2.

Victim identified in deadly Enfield hit-and-run

According to a news release sent to 22News by Police Sgt. Matthew Meier, the vehicle that struck Mercier believed to be a 2003-2007 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck. The truck may have damage to the front right side, including the headlight assembly.
