Police find suspect who ran from car crash Monson

MONSON, Mass. (WWLP) – Massachusetts State Police launched a helicopter over the Town of Monson, Tuesday night, to help Monson Police find a suspect after a car crash.

According to Monson Police Facebook page, a car collided with two parked tractor trailers on Bethany Road around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. No one was hurt, but police started searching for the driver, who ran away after the crash.

Monson Police Dispatch told 22News the driver was identified and arrested not far from where the accident happened on Bethany Street. It took police about an hour and a half to find him. Police dogs were used in the search.
