GREENFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – A manager display was vandalized in the Town of Greenfield. The donkey’s ears were knocked off, and had to be glued back on, and the baby Jesus doll also reportedly had some damage.

Now the town’s Human Right’s Commission said they want to launch a formal investigation, into what they are calling a possible hate crime.

The commission said the Jesus figurine was destroyed or stolen three times last year.
