HOLLAND, Mass. (WWLP) – More than $2,000 worth of finished lumber was stolen from a home construction site in eastern Hampden County, police say.

According to Holland Police Chief Ryan Haughey, the theft from the house on Kimball Hill Road is believed to have happened at some point between November 30 and December 2. In total, some 100 pieces of finished lumber were stolen, with the victim estimating the value being more than $2,000.

Haughey says that it is likely that the thief or thieves used a truck, because there was too much lumber to be carried otherwise.
