‘A Christmas Story’ fans bid to stay in the Parker family home this Christmas

CLEVELAND (WCMH) — Fans of the 1983 movie “A Christmas Story” have the opportunity to stay in the house this Christmas–and maybe even shoot an eye out.

Every year, The “A Christmas Story” House Foundation holds a fundraiser for one lucky winner to re-live some of the scenes in the holiday classic.

The Foundation is auctioning off a two-day, two-night experience for the winner and three guests. It includes a stay in the famous house, over $800 in gifts (including a leg lamp and a Red Ryder BB gun), and admission to several Cleveland landmarks.

All proceeds go toward the Foundation, which was “established to restore and maintain the historical neighborhood surrounding the iconic landmark, for future generations to experience and enjoy.”
