Students learn about judicial system at Hampden County Hall of Justice

Students learned about career opportunities

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Students at the M. Marcus Kiley Middle School toured the Hampden County Hall of Justice Monday morning.

Hampden County District Attorney Anthony Gulluni hosted the students for the tour. Students learned about career opportunities within the judicial system.

Gulluni told 22News why it is important to expose young people to the judicial system; “We do this a lot, we try to get in front of as many young people as we can to talk to them about smart choices, safety, good choices around drugs. But for this group, it’s really showing them the opportunities that are before them as they get through their education.”

Students also heard from several officials who work in the court house.
