NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) – In Hampshire County, the rivalry game between Easthampton and Northampton brought out families and fans for the final game of the season. Though most people were there to cheer on their town, for people like Harold Laflamme, the tradition of Thanksgiving football continues, even when their team isn’t playing.

“This is a tradition for me and my brother,” Laflamme explained. “Sometimes, we go up to Chicopee and Holyoke too. It depends if Easthampton’s not playing. We go all over on Thanksgiving.”

Northampton beat Easthampton 42-14 in their Thanksgiving match-up.
