East Longmeadow-Longmeadow game a longstanding tradition

EAST LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WWLP) – Another Thanksgiving tradition is still going strong in Hampden County. The annual Longmeadow-East Longmeadow football game kicked-off at 10:00 A.M.

The game is being held at East Longmeadow High School this year, and no matter whether it is held here or at Longmeadow High, it always draws large crowds.

Longmeadow has had the traditional edge in the Thanksgiving matchup, but East Longmeadow won last year’s game on the road, 13-6.

22News will have the score of today’s game between the Spartans and the Lancers, and the other Thanksgiving Day matchups tonight on 22News starting at 5:00.
