BELCHERTOWN, Mass. (WWLP) – Parents and friends filled the stands at Belchertown High School to see the Orioles battle perennial rival Pathfinder.
The home team rolled-up 30 points, keeping the Pioneers scoreless in their traditional match-up. Tricia Marchand of Belchertown was among the moms in the crowd rooting for their sons.
“It’s a wonderful day to be out. It’s nice weather. It’s awesome to come out and support the kids and all they’re doing. I said to him this morning, just go out and have fun, do a good job, make us proud of you,. It comes to the Thanksgiving game, it just warms your heart,” Marchand said.
The teams played their hearts out, and in the end, the final score was 30-0 Belchertown.
