WESTFORD, Mass. (AP) – Authorities were investigating the death of an employee of an eastern Massachusetts ski area Tuesday, but they do not suspect it was the result of a crime.
A spokeswoman for the Middlesex County District Attorney said police were called to the Nashoba Valley Ski Area in Westford at about 9:30 a.m. Tuesday for a report of a death.
They found the body of a 70-year-old Townsend man who worked at the ski area. His name was not made public
Nashoba Valley general manager, Al Fletcher Jr. released a statement saying, “everyone who works at Nashoba Valley is ‘terribly shaken’ and (the man) was ‘treasured’ by both his family and staff.”
No other information was released.
