Chicopee Walgreens store robbed by man with knife

Man drove off in a silver car with no license plates

CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – Chicopee police are looking for the public’s help following an armed robbery at a drugstore in the city’s Fairview neighborhood Wednesday morning.

Chicopee Police Officer Mike Wilk told 22News that at around 7:10 A.M., a man armed with a knife entered the Walgreens at 583 James Street, jumped over the counter, stole some pharmacy items, and ran away.

The suspect is described as a white man in his mid 40’s. He was wearing a baseball cap, glasses, and a dark jacket. He drove off southbound on Memorial Drive in a silver car with no license plates.
