CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – A 2nd annual football alumni game was held at Chicopee Comp High School Wednesday night.
Over a hundred alumni and former “comp cults” players came out to reunite with old friends and get back on the football field.
The game was played in memory of Kyle Chapdelaine, whose life was cut tragically short when he was killed in a motorcycle accident in May.
“It’s a great event they have put together just for him, it’s overwhelming the amount of support we have had from the Chicopee community,” said Kyle’s mother, Kimberly Chapdelaine.
Some of the proceeds raised during this alumni game will go to the Comp football program, and the rest will be divided up and donated to local charities.
