Holyoke Police looking for bank robbery suspect

HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) – Holyoke Police are looking for the public’s help identifying a suspect wanted in connection to a bank robbery.

Holyoke Police Lt. Jim Albert told 22News the suspect allegedly robbed the Westfield Bank Branch located at 1642 Northampton Street around 2:15 p.m. Tuesday.

The man allegedly passed a note to the teller demanding money. He did not have a weapon, and no one was hurt, Albert says.

The amount of cash stolen has not been released.
