Springfield Police: Armed suspect robbed 1 store 3 times

The suspect used a knife in each robbery

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Detectives from the Major Crimes Unit need the public’s help identifying a man who robbed a convenience store on Allen Street in Springfield on three different days.

According to Springfield Police Sgt. John Delaney, the New World Convenience Store and Gas Station at 527 Allen Street was robbed on October 21st at 10:18 p.m., October 22nd at 12:54 p.m., and November 3rd at 6:30 p.m.

In each robbery, Sgt. Delaney said the same suspect walked into the store with a knife, threatened the clerk and then left on foot towards Sumner Avenue with an undisclosed amount of cash. The clerk was not hurt in any of the robberies.
