ENFIELD, Conn. (WWLP) – Two banks were robbed in a span of less than 10 minutes by the same suspect, and now police in Enfield, Connecticut are hoping you can help them find the robber.

According to a department news release sent to 22News, both robberies took place late Saturday morning. The first one was at the People’s United Bank on Hazard Avenue at 10:34 A.M. The suspect demanded money from the teller, and then made off with cash.

Seven minutes later, there was a report of a robbery about a block away at the Webster Bank on Freshwater Boulevard. As was the case in the first hold-up, the robber demanded cash from the teller and got away with money.

In the Webster Bank robbery, he was wearing the same coat and jeans, but had instead put on a Boston Red Sox baseball cap.
