GREENFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – All that was missing was a coating of snow to complete the atmosphere for Sunday’s vintage snowmobile show in Greenfield.
The 15th annual show put on by the Bernardston-Gill-Leyden snowmobile club also attracted winter sports fans from New Hampshire and Vermont. They came to get nostalgic about snowmobiles of a bygone era and hope they get lucky with a lot of snow this winter.
Event organizer Jeff Miller told 22News, “Yeah, it wasn’t a very good season last year, but with the people that are showing up today, there’s hope from people we’re going to have a good year. Snowmobilers are optimistic we’re always looking for a lot of snow.”
For the 2nd, the Massachusetts environmental police provided an opportunity to register snowmobiles right there at the agency’s remote office.
