WILLIMANTIC, Conn. (AP) — State police in Connecticut are seeking two persons of interest in the killing of a man found in Willimantic.
Police identified the two as 24-year-old Juan Chach and 26-year-old Ignacio Chach-Aperez. Investigators said Sunday that they don’t believe the two are still in the area.
Police responded around 3 a.m. Saturday to reports of a disturbance at 38 Pulaski Court and found a man suffering from life-threatening injuries. Emergency medical services arrived but the man was pronounced dead.
State police said two men wearing baggy clothing were seen running from the scene, one of them possibly injured and bleeding.
Police have not identified the victim or said what injuries he sustained. They said the state medical examiner’s office will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
