Anti-Trump protesters took to the streets of Springfield

Some held Black Lives Matter signs while others waived the gay pride flag

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The election of the 45th President of the United States has brought on a strong emotional response for many Americans.

“Hey hey, ho ho, Donald Trump has got to go.”

Hundreds of People protesting the President-Elect gathered in court square in Springfield Sunday chanting and holding signs. It’s just one of hundreds if not thousands of protests across the nation.

These protesters did it peacefully. They represented different ages and races. Some signs simply read “No Trump.” Others held Black Lives Matter signs while others waived the gay pride flag. The protest grew as the day continued.
