Interfaith service for Veterans Day held at VA Medical Center in Leeds

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) – There will be an interfaith memorial service at the chapel at VA Medical Center in Leeds on Veterans Day.

More than 200 area veterans will be remembered at this ceremony on Friday at 2 p.m.

The ceremony is designed to allow families, friends, and colleagues the opportunity to pay tribute to loved ones, including veterans and employees from central and western Massachusetts.

Names of loved ones who have died in the last six months since Memorial Day, will be read during the ceremony.

VA Chaplain David Whitely will lead the service. The service will also include choral music by the Eventide Singers, a group of volunteers from Amherst.
