(WWLP) – Within a hour of Donald Trump claiming victory from New York City, protests started across the country.
Hundreds of protesters in San Francisco gathered in the streets and set fires in the roadway. Others in Portland, Oregon gathered in the streets and were seen burning the American Flag.
Demonstrations were also reported in multiple California cities like Berkeley and Oakland where college students chanted, “Not my president!”
Even before Trump declared victory, protesters gathered around the gate of the White House with signs calling him a racist.
