AGAWAM, Mass. (WWLP) – Well we knew the warm air wouldn’t last long. 22News is tracking some cooler temperatures on the way.
Most of us really enjoyed that mild air yesterday when temperatures were in the 60s. But by this weekend, temperatures will be feeling more like December.
High temperatures this weekend will be in the 40s. Making western Massachusetts feel more like early Winter than Fall. Average high temperatures for this time of the year is in the lower 50s.
By Saturday we will be a good ten degrees below average. Residents 22News talked to said they are not ready for the major change in weather. Terry O’Conor, from Agawam, told 22News, “I wish it would stay in the 60s I’m not a big cold weather fan actually I like 60s year round this is great.”
For those not ready for the cooler air, temperatures will be back near average by the end of the weekend and into next week. Looking into next week it looks like we will be staying in the 50s.
