Suspect robbed Chicopee convenience store with a knife

K-9 officers were called in to search for the suspect

CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – Chicopee Police are searching for an armed suspect who robbed a convenience store Tuesday night on Chicopee Street.

According to Chicopee Police Officer Michael Wilk, officers were called to the Quick Pick Mart at 452 Chicopee Street, around 7:45 p.m. Tuesday, for a report of an armed robbery.

The suspect was described as possibly wearing a white hoody and armed with a knife, Wilk said. The suspect was last seen heading towards McKinstry Avenue.

Wilk said detectives, uniformed patrol and K-9 officers were all called to Chicopee Street to help search for the suspect and investigate the robbery.
