Election Day is looking bright and warm for voting

Temperatures will be a good ten degrees above average

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – For those of us who are in need of a mild day, our wish is granted.

Leave the rain gear at home and just bring the sunglasses for Election Day Tuesday. The 22News Storm Team is tracking sunshine, dry air, and temperatures in the 60s. That will be a good ten degrees above our average high temperature for this time of the year. Our average high for early November is in the lower 50s.

Tuesday’s weather couldn’t be any better for residents to get out and place their vote. Lynn Andreen, from Vermont, told 22News, “I think that’s a good thing I think it should get people out to vote.”

This mild air couldn’t have come at a better time.
