CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – This has been a contentious election season and it will all come to a conclusion Tuesday night.

However, after votes have been counted, there’s concern about how our divided country can heal; or if citizens will be able to reconcile all the passionate differences expressed during this campaign season.

Matthew Vogel of Easton told 22News, “What will the national consciousness do next, like when it’s over, what will everyone say…I know what I want to happen but what will actually happen we couldn’t have envisioned this election, so I’m sure we can’t envision this presidency.”

One thing seems certain, there will be a large group of voters unhappy with the result of Tuesday’s elections, and they’ll have to find a way to live with the new leadership.

22News will have Full Live Coverage on Election Day; make sure to stay with us on-air and on WWLP.com.
