AGAWAM, Mass. (WWLP) – For the 3rd consecutive year, an eight year old Agawam boy, Ayden Vrijenhoek, spearheaded a charity walk and ride to raise money to fight hunger. Ayden’s Ride for Life attracted nearly twice the number of people it did a year ago.
Ayden’s mom Connie, is so proud of her concerned son. “Just to know that this is what he wanted to do it’s meant so much to him, he really cares about feeding people, he truly wants to make a difference.”
Agawam Mayor Richard Cohen showed his support for Ayden’s community spirit during the well-attended event at the school street park.
Children on bicycles made up a large segment during Ayden’s ride for life.
