CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – Daylight Saving is Sunday, which means, it’s time to set your clocks back.
The good news, you’ll gain an hour of sleep. The bad news, you have to remember to set your clocks and appliances to the right time. For smartphone users and newer computer owners, your devices will automatically update for you.
22News spoke with “Yes” Computers in Northampton, about how technology is saving people time. Tony Russell-Smith said “It’s one of those random things you don’t have to remember anymore, but because a lot of people still have old school clocks that you have to change and a lot of people set reminders on their smart phones for the daylight savings time anyway.”
Fire officials are also reminding you to check your smoke detectors. They recommend you change your batteries twice a year, when daylight savings begins and ends.
