Search for suspect in Ludlow neighborhood

Man was wanted on misdemeanor warrants, did not stop for police

LUDLOW, Mass. (WWLP) – Ludlow police searched for a wanted man in a residential neighborhood late Thursday morning and into the early afternoon.

Ludlow Police Lt. Joe Metcalfe told 22News that the incident began at around 10:00 A.M. Metcalfe said police had attempted to pull over the man- who had three outstanding misdemeanor warrants- in the Kendall Street area. The suspect did not stop, however, and rather abandoned his car on Bluegrass Lane and ran off.

Police conducted a search of nearby streets, but were unable to find the man, and left the area after 12:30.
