The suspect got away on foot with no money

ENFELD, Conn. (WWLP) – Enfield Police are searching for a man who allegedly attempted to rob a bank, Wednesday afternoon, on Enfield Street.

Enfield Police Lt. Willie Pedemonti told 22News the department received a call around 1:10 p.m. Wednesday that someone attempted to rob the Santander Bank at 800 Enfield Street.

He said the alleged suspect, who you can see in the surveillance photos below, walked up to the teller and passed a note demanding money, and implying that he had a gun. However, the teller did not hand over any money, and the suspect left the bank on foot.
